The 3rd Death Division Squad x 12 brings twelve individual resin miniatures to your tabletop, each sculpted in a grim, oppressive military aesthetic that suits any grimdark sci-fi wargame setting. These soldiers wear gas masks, heavy greatcoats, reinforced armour plating, and carry a varied arsenal including large rotary weapons, twin-linked guns, combat blades, and support equipment. The level of sculpted detail across every figure is exceptional, with visible straps, pouches, rivets, and mask tubes that reward careful painting.
Each physical miniature in this 3rd Death Division Squad x set arrives already 3D printed in high-resolution resin, with supports removed and surfaces cleaned, ready for assembly and painting straight out of the package. The set contains twelve unique poses, giving your squad visual variety on the battlefield. Scale is 29mm from feet to eyes, compatible with most major 28mm and 32mm wargame systems.
The squad includes three distinct trooper archetypes visible across the twelve figures: command-style officers in long coats carrying pistols or blades, standard infantry armed with rifles and carbines, and heavy weapons specialists carrying bulky crew-served or oversized firearms. This variety makes the 3rd Death Division Squad x an excellent core infantry unit for elite, death-corps-inspired forces.
Miniatures are supplied unpainted. Bases are included. Light assembly may be required for some figures. Superglue is recommended.
Painting Guide: 3rd Death Division Squad x 12 - Sci-Fi Wargaming MiniaturesThis guide is designed to help you achieve a grimdark, worn, campaign-ready finish for your squad. Work methodically through each stage for consistent results across all twelve figures.
1. Prime
- Apply a uniform grey or black spray primer across all models, holding the can approximately 25-30cm away to preserve fine details.
- Allow full cure time before proceeding, ideally overnight.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the armour plates and helmet in a dark grey or slate blue using thin, even coats.
- Apply a mid-grey drybrush lightly over raised edges to bring out the sculpted panel lines.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out straps, pouches, and belts in a dark leather brown, then highlight with a warm tan.
- Paint the greatcoat fabric in a deep charcoal or field grey, with a subtle highlight along the lapels and hem.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat all weapons in dark gunmetal, then drybrush lightly with bright silver to suggest worn metal.
- Pick out any skulls or decorative details on the weapons with a bone or off-white tone for contrast.
5. Weathering
- Apply a diluted brown or black wash over the entire model, allowing it to pool in recesses for a battle-worn effect.
- Add small chips and scratches to armour edges using a fine brush and a mid-grey paint for a campaign-hardened finish.
6. Bases
- Paint the base rim in a neutral dark brown or black to match your army basing scheme.
- Add texture paste, sand, or small stones to the top surface, then drybrush in light grey or bone to tie the squad together visually.
