Space Dwarf Warriors: Plasma are a squad of five stocky, battle-hardened warriors clad in heavy sci-fi armour, each carrying oversized plasma weaponry and ready to unleash devastation across any wargaming battlefield. These physical resin miniatures arrive at your door with supports already removed, cleaned, and ready to assemble and paint. Each figure is cast at 32mm scale, giving crisp detail across every beard, rivet, and weapon casing.
The squad of five includes a variety of poses: two warriors raising plasma rifles at full aim, one striding forward with a sidearm raised in a commanding pose, one carrying a heavy rotary plasma weapon at the hip, and one braced with a long-barrelled plasma gun. The variety of poses gives the unit a dynamic, lived-in feel on the tabletop, ideal for skirmish games, squad-based wargames, or display collections. Each miniature is mounted on a round lipped base.
Designed in the grimdark tradition, the Space Dwarf Warriors: Plasma bring a rugged, industrialised aesthetic to any sci-fi force. Their bulky power armour is covered in practical detail: layered plating, utility pouches, cable runs, and squad markings. These are warriors forged in the furnace of war, and every detail says so. Whether you field them as a veteran heavy weapons team or a specialist plasma unit, they carry visual weight and personality that rewards close inspection.
Each miniature in this set is supplied in high-quality grey resin. Minor clean-up may be required on mould lines. Superglue is recommended for any assembly. Paints and glue are not included.
Painting Guide: Space Dwarf Warriors: Plasma - Sci-Fi Wargaming Miniatures, 32mmThis guide is designed to help you get the most from your Space Dwarf Warriors: Plasma, whether you are a first-time painter or a seasoned hobbyist looking for a quick and effective scheme.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer across all surfaces. Grey primer works well for lighter armour schemes, while black gives a natural shadow base for darker palettes.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the armour plates with a dark iron or steel grey. A deep blue-green works well for a void-patrol aesthetic.
- Apply a watered-down dark wash into all recesses to define the panel lines and layered plating.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out piping, rivets, and belt fittings in a brassy gold or aged bronze to contrast against the dark armour.
- Paint leather straps and pouches in a muted brown, then highlight the edges with a lighter tan.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat plasma weapon coils and chambers with a deep blue or purple, then build up highlights toward white-blue at the tips to suggest plasma energy.
- Paint the weapon housings in gunmetal or dark silver, adding a rust-brown wash toward the barrel vents for a used, battle-worn feel.
5. Weathering
- Stipple chipping effects onto armour edges using a sponge and a mid-tone silver. Focus on knees, shoulders, and gauntlets.
- Add streaks of brown or orange oil paint downward from bolts and joints to suggest rust and grime built up over long campaigns.
6. Bases
- Texture the base with fine sand or a commercial texture paste, then paint dark grey or brown. Drybrush lightly with pale stone and add tufts or static grass to finish.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
