This Fantasy Warrior resin figurine by Shiox is a striking single-character collectible sculpted for tabletop RPG enthusiasts, painters, and display collectors alike. Standing at approximately 25 cm (1/6 scale), this bold warrior commands attention with her twin flowing ponytails, ornate dark armour adorned with skull and demonic motifs, and a long broadsword held at her side. Her dynamic pose, one leg raised and cloak-like hair swept outward, captures a moment of raw combat energy.
The figurine arrives as a physical resin miniature with supports already removed and parts cleaned and prepared. The sculpt is by Luis Donaldo Meza (Shiox) under the Fantasy Warrior Line 8 series. It comes as a multi-part kit ready to assemble and paint, including a detailed rocky crystal base. No printing or preparation work is required on your end.
Whether you are adding this Fantasy Warrior to a display shelf, using her as a powerful character piece in a tabletop campaign, or entering her into a painting competition, the level of detail across her armour panels, hair strands, and rocky base rewards every stage of the painting process. She suits a wide range of tabletop RPG settings including Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and other fantasy systems.
Scale: 1/6, approximately 250 mm tall including base. Supplied unpainted in grey resin. Assembly required.
Painting Guide: Fantasy Warrior - ShioxThis guide will help you bring this Fantasy Warrior to life with a striking, battle-worn finish.
1. Prime
- Apply a thin, even coat of grey or black spray primer across all parts before assembly if preferred for crevice access.
- Allow to fully cure for at least one hour before handling.
2. Armour Base
- Basecoat the armour plates in a deep obsidian or dark iron tone such as Abaddon Black or Iron Warriors.
- Layer up with a dark grey highlight on raised edges to create a worn metal look.
3. Trim and Details
- Pick out the skull and demonic motifs on the breastplate and waist armour with a deep bronze or aged gold such as Retributor Armour, then shade with Agrax Earthshade.
- Drybrush lightly with Runefang Steel on edge details to enhance the metallic contrast.
4. Weapons
- Basecoat the broadsword blade in Leadbelcher and apply a thin wash of Nuln Oil to define the fuller and edge.
- Edge highlight with Stormhost Silver for a sharpened, battle-ready finish.
5. Weathering
- Apply small chips and scratches using a fine detail brush and a dark brown undercoat mix on armour edges.
- Use a stippled sponge technique with Typhus Corrosion in recesses for a grimdark, battle-scarred effect.
6. Bases
- Drybrush the rocky crystal base with Mechanicus Standard Grey and then Administratum Grey, finishing with a light drybrush of white on crystal tips.
- Optionally add a gloss varnish to crystal formations for a magical, arcane glow effect.
This is an adult hobbyist collectible, not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14 years due to small, detailed parts.
